My Pencil

When sister moves her pencil

Over the paper white,

Whole words all made of letters

Come quickly into sight.

I know my pencil’s just as full

Of words as it can be;

But yet, it will not write a word

Of anything for me.

When sister moves her pencil
Over the paper white,
Whole words all made of letters
Come quickly into sight.

I know my pencil’s just as full
Of words as it can be;
But yet, it will not write a word
Of anything for me.

Do you wonder why when you use your eraser,
Your words disappear from the spot where they once were?

If you're like me you probably wonder about lots of things.
That's why I wrote this poem. I hope you enjoy it.
