The Mirror Child

The child who lives the other side

Of Mother’s looking glass,

Smiles back at me when ever

I see her, as I slowly pass;

She wears her hair as I wear mine,

And the same kind of clothes,

I wonder why?

She thinks that mine are pretty,

I suppose.
